Botswana
The Okavango Delta in Botswana is the largest inland delta in the world as the water never reaches the sea. It is a spectacular landscape. You generally fly to Johannesburg and get a connecting flight to Maun. From there you reach the reserves by flying in small 4, 6, 8 or 10 seater aircraft. Because of this there are restrictions on the weight of luggage, which we recommend you check before travelling. When we went in 2012 it was 20kgs. in total. This includes hand and hold luggage which must also be soft bags.
